ZHAROVNYA is a hospitality project in Kyiv Ukraine, developed around zharovnya — restaurant interior design inspired by fire. ZHAROVNYA — Restaurant Interior Design Inspired by Fire ZHAROVNYA is a restaurant interior design project that reinterprets the hearth as the central idea behind atmosphere, materiality, and spatial rhythm. Rather than imitating rustic tradition, this hospitality interior design concept transforms the feeling of warmth, embers, and craftsmanship into a refined architectural language. Materials and Concept The restaurant interior is built on a strong contrast between raw and tactile materials: dark timber, exposed metal, concrete textures, terracotta brick, leather, and warm natural wood. Industrial design elements give the space structure and character, while amber lighting softens the composition — creating the impression of surfaces touched by fire. Space Planning The interior design layout balances openness and intimacy. Wooden screens, booth seating, illuminated niches, and decorative grasses divide the restaurant into atmospheric zones, allowing each table to feel private while staying connected to the overall interior narrative — a key principle in restaurant design that supports both ambience and functionality. Open Kitchen Concept The open kitchen and bar reinforce the core design concept: cooking becomes part of the visual and sensory experience for guests. In ZHAROVNYA, interior design is not just a backdrop for dining but a complete sensory environment — where architecture, light, texture, and fire work together to create a warm, expressive, and memorable restaurant identity.
