Aka Hana is a hospitality project in Kyiv Ukraine, developed around restaurant. The restaurant is conceived as a seamless dialogue between architecture and landscape, where biophilic design becomes an integral part of the spatial composition rather than a decorative gesture. Vertical gardens, cascading vegetation, and natural materials dissolve the boundaries between interior and exterior, creating an immersive environment rooted in nature. Warm timber, textured stone, and earthy finishes establish a restrained material palette that reinforces a sense of authenticity and tactile comfort. Sculptural columns and clean geometric forms introduce architectural order, providing a contemporary counterpoint to the organic softness of the planting. The layout unfolds through a sequence of interconnected spaces, balancing intimate lounge settings with open dining areas to create a fluid rhythm of social interaction and privacy. Carefully integrated lighting and layered textures enhance the perception of depth, allowing natural materials and greenery to define the atmosphere throughout the day and into the evening. Extending the architectural narrative outdoors, the terrace functions as a multifunctional social platform where dining, music, and landscape converge. The addition of a dedicated DJ zone transforms the venue beyond a conventional restaurant, positioning it as a contemporary cultural destination that evolves from a tranquil daytime retreat into a vibrant nightlife experience. The project ultimately demonstrates how architecture, landscape, and hospitality can be woven into a cohesive spatial identity where nature and urban life exist in deliberate balance. The work combines dark timber, textured plaster, metal accents with a scope focused on restaurant concept, space planning, lighting mood, creating a clear atmosphere for daily use, photography and long-term spatial memory.
